Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 September 2026

Sawari Motors (operated by BM Triple Five Pty Ltd, ABN 76 738 410 649) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and customer portal, why we collect it, and how we handle it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Contact details you provide when creating an account: name, email, mobile number, address.
  • Driver's licence photos and other identity or eligibility documents you upload for licence verification.
  • Booking, hire, rent-to-own and sale agreement records tied to your account.
  • Payment-related information needed to process a payment or direct debit. Card and bank account details are handled directly by our payment processor, Pay Advantage — we do not store your full card or account numbers.
  • Vehicle condition photos and inspection records for a vehicle you have booked, hired or purchased.
  • Basic technical data (such as browser type and IP address) generated by using our website.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

  • Create and manage your account, bookings, and hire, rent-to-own or sale agreements.
  • Verify your identity and licence eligibility before a vehicle is released to you.
  • Process payments, receipts, invoices and direct debits.
  • Send you account, booking, agreement and payment emails about your own transactions.
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including motor dealer record-keeping requirements.

Every email we send is triggered by an action on your own account or contract — a booking, an agreement, a payment — not a marketing list. We do not send newsletters or promotional campaigns, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

  • Pay Advantage, to process payments and direct debits on your agreement.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers who host our systems and store documents on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Government or regulatory bodies where we are legally required to disclose information (for example, motor dealer or vehicle registration authorities).
  • Our own staff, on a need-to-know basis, to operate your booking or agreement.

How we protect it

We store data on access-controlled cloud infrastructure and limit staff access to what each role needs to do its job. Documents you upload (such as licence photos) are kept in private storage, not publicly accessible.

How long we keep it

We retain account and agreement records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal, accounting and dealer record-keeping obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to our legal obligation to keep certain records. To make a request, or if you have a question about this policy, contact us using the details in the footer of this page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
